Hotel Le Calette

For over fifty years, Le Calette has been internationally recognised as one of the most exclusive examples of hospitality in Sicily. Nestled in one of the most evocative and scenic corners of the island’s northern coastline – just outside the historic centre of Cefalù, a UNESCO site – and surrounded by 2 hectares of botanical park, the complex follows with its Mediterranean architecture the folds and inlets of the Caldura bay, insinuating itself into the small ‘coves’ from which it takes its name.

With a proposal of suites and rooms, divided into two complexes – the 5-star ‘Le Calette N°5’ and the 4-star ‘Le Calette Bay’ – and of private villas, Le Calette offers panoramic terraces and quiet Mediterranean gardens overlooking the sea in which to laze on relaxing days, and a wide range of restaurants, bars, beach clubs and wellness areas for extraordinarily unique stays.

An intimate Spa, located in the ancient 400-square-meter cellar of the hotel, was completed in 2021. It is an area inspired by the suggestions and materials of the Mediterranean, equipped with a sauna, hammam, whirlpools, and relaxation areas. In the beauty area, where the advanced Thalaxoterm system is also located, various types of treatments can be provided: facial and body treatments, aesthetic and sports massages.

During the summer season, the Gazebo of the Enchantress Circe – positioned like a seagull’s nest atop a rock by the sea – is the most sought-after and rewarding corner for an enchanting treatment.
